(More customer reviews)I bought it for the kids. It meows 8 times each hour. Not like a cuckoo clock which meows 1 time at 1 pm, twice at 2 pm etc. It has a sensor that stops it from meowing in the dark which is nice, it lets you sleep. Volume is good, not too loud. But it tends to wake me at 7 am. Overall I recommend it. My kitty does tend to look up when he hears it.
