(More customer reviews)I usually steer away from things like this, but this is one gizmo I am GLAD I BOUGHT! I like it so much I am considering buying another one in case this one craps out on me! I never want to be without one! It is very noisy, but I don't care, it's worth going through some noise to make potato peeling SO MUCH easier and faster! I have a family of 8 in this house, and I peel a lot of potatoes. Now I can have a 5 pound bag peeled and in the pot in 10 to 15 minutes, compared to peeling manually for over a half hour with a paring knife or veggie peeler. I still have to cut out the deeper pits but I do that while some are in the peeler. Now I don't even dread the 30+ pounds of potatoes I have to peel and mash at Thanksgiving...heck, I am actually looking forward to it!
